Exercise · ZW-CONCAVITY-AND-INFLECTION-POINTS-002 · ★☆☆ Basic
Choose one option.
Compute \(f''(x)=6 \left(x - 1\right)\), which vanishes at x = 1 and changes sign there (negative on the left, positive on the right). That is the inflection point.
If \(f^{\prime\prime}>0\) on an interval, the graph is concave up; if \(f^{\prime\prime}<0\), concave down. An inflection point is where the concavity changes, and there \(f^{\prime\prime}(c)=0\) or does not exist.
